Hey Tom, see you haven't been slacking off... more fantastic shots of abandon and disrepair, dissolution and disintegration, despair and delight in the natural order of decline and decay of objects past their prime. Have to admit I was thinking of you several times over the past couple of weeks away on vacation on Reunion Island. There are a number of abandoned sugar factories there, I took pictures of a few, and was able to get into one old building there which normally should have been off limits, but someone had pried off part of a panel on door, leaving an opening that was too tempting... will soon be posting some photos of all that... I'm sure you would have enjoyed some of those places. Keep up the great work. Loved the shots from the deep South there a few posts back...

  2. Welcome back to the fold, Owen! I hope you had a nice break and I'm glad you're enjoying my continuing forays into the dark side of life. We have 3 quality trips set up through the end of March, by the way. Otherwise, shooting and abandoned sugar factory would be a first for me and I'm curious to check this out. Continued best…
